Side planks are a great exercise to work on for a full body workout. I like to do these in between exercise sets to keep my body moving and working.
Side plank target your upper body by engaging the shoulders and back along with your core including your obliques. They also hit your lower body by targeting your glutes, hamstrings and quads. As you can see side planks are a great exercise to preform and get good at.
Keep working on these and you will get to the variations that are more difficult making them an even better workout.
